A Week Alone

Roy asked why I raise my voice so quickly with Sy. Well first, I talk loud to begin with and second, I'm with him a lot more than Roy is. When Roy comes into the picture, more than not, he has missed the 15 times I have asked in a calm, low voice and doesn't register that I'm not getting anywhere. I also get mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, constantly. I know I will miss it but sometimes I need to think and I can't because in the background I hear mom, mom, mom, mom.

G&G met us this afternoon and we did a hand off. Sy is with them for the week. It sounded great in theory but I already miss the little guy. Although not hearing mom, mom, mom, mom, mom for the last 4 hours has been kind of nice. ;-)

So far I was able to finish up some laundry and upload a ton of photos from the Missions game last Friday night. I need to get the link to one of the other mom's.

I hope to get a few more things done this week too - they are:
1. Run to the fabric store. I need grey thread and it's hard to find.
2. Get a bag ready for donation. We have shoes, utensils, clothes, and perhaps some toys? that need to go.
3. Fix the buttons on the rocker.
4. Read a book. At least one. But I hope two...three...
5. Get a new pair of black sandals since Zulu ate the two pair I had.

Since I only have post 6 pm to get this stuff done for the next 4 nights, I guess I better get started.
