The cat peed on Sy's bed again. Yes, again. Ugh. The door was left open. I don't know how but when Roy saw it this morning, did he close it? No. Sy and I were gone so we couldn't close it. Ugh, again. I pulled his bed apart, scrubbed the headboard and I'm waiting for the blanket to dry. Sy is asleep on our bed. Can't wait to finish and get everyone to the correct bed.
I got to go shopping on Sunday. I went with Grandma to the outlets, Ross, Marshalls, JCP, and Tuesday Morning. I got some new shoes, skirts, and some blouses. In Tuesday Morning, I noticed they had a nail brush that was larger than the one we currently have and much nicer. Grandma got it for us. That was very nice of her. I used it last night and it's fantastic. It's the little things in life that count, right? And nice clean nails is one of those little things.
Sy is enjoying swimming lessons. He's still not entirely listening to the instructor but they seem to be okay with that. His last lesson for this group is next Saturday. He says he wants to keep going so I'm going to sign him up for another group.
For Mother's Day, we went to Los Barrios for late lunch/early dinner. Yummy. I took play-doh for Sy to play with. It works wonders.
The day before, we went and got Sy's picture taken. It was too funny. He didn't want to go at first but then once we got there, he didn't want to be done. Some of the pictures turned out really stiff but some were really cute. He did a good job and is ready to go back anytime. I'm glad that was good experience. Hopefully we won't wait another 2 1/2 years before going back.
These are two that didn't make the cut to go to print. The nice thing about Portrait Innovations is they give you a cd of all the photos. They are fun to look back on.
