Hiatus

I went on vacation and forgot to come back. Well, I at least forgot to come back to this blog. I was home but it's been hectic.

I came home sick. I thought it was an ear infection but it turns out I had some weird thing behind my ear that was so tender and provided an ungodly amount of pain and then it got a sore on it and then it popped - gross. I have to tell you that 2 months later, there is still a scab - not completely healed. Dr. doesn't know what caused it but I'm glad it's almost over.

Then, I got a sinus infection. Then Roy got a sinus infection. Then Sy got a stomach bug. Then Roy got a kidney stone, and then another, and then another. I think we are on number 5 now. I hope he's done. It's miserable to listen to that, I can't imagine going through it.

We had a good vacation. It was nice to see the family. I didn't get as much visiting in as I had hoped since it was only 4 days and I didn't sleep well at all. The pull out sofa is not my friend. Kind of lame but I will have to work on that for next visit. I need my sleep.

Anyway, I'm back.
