Well, Roy was short some tiles and had to order another box while I was out of town. It came in quickly and went up just as quickly. That's the good news...
The bad news is that the project still is NOT finished. Why? Well, because he needs to finish painting the trim (and walls) he installed in what is now a walk-through but at one time was the very small dining room.
What stalled this project you ask? Well, for starters by the time we arrived home, he was doggone tired and needed to take a break; plus, he had real paying work that needed to get done. Then the air compressor broke and we needed to get a new one so he could install the trim.
On the compressor, he went with the commercial grade Dewalt. I was okay with the purchase because we used the old air compressor a lot and this one will hopefully last longer than the old one because we went commercial. At least it better.
So for now, I am still living in a construction zone. I am starting to feel the pressure of the holidays approaching. I am going to have to ask if I can paint so we can put stuff back where it belongs and have room for a tree come Thanksgiving.
