The Quad

I wrote a post about The Quad shortly after it's arrival on Christmas morning. This toy has been a hit as our child rode it every.single.day.

Unfortunately, the battery was not one that you take out and charge as on the Power Wheels vehicles. It lasted a lot longer than it said it would - but all good things come to an end. The battery died in March? April? Not sure exactly when but it was awhile back.

Roy took it apart to see what the battery looked like and determined we could replace it. It's been on the list but we only took care of it yesterday. We aren't any if not prompt, eh?

Roy did have the smarts to upgrade the power/duration of the replacement since we have the chance. After Sy went to bed last night, he put the crazy thing back together and charged it up.

Sy is currently outside testing it out.

I hope this quells the request for a gas-powered go kart for another few months.
