It's the busiest time of the year

I'm not sure where December went, but it's almost gone. Here's the recap since I last posted.
Weekend of December 19 - Roy had the Fire Department Christmas party.  Sy went and got the gift and ran to the grocery store to get the snacks - crackers, salami, cheese, and cashews.  We made the platter and wrapped the gift.  I honestly cannot remember what Roy was working on and why he didn't go run these errands on his own, but it was something outside.  Sad isn't it, I just plain don't remember.
We had a great holiday, G&G Sheetz came down to spend the day with us. Roy cooked up shrimp, clams and crabs.  The crabs freaked Sy out.  He passed on the seafood (it seems to go back to the smoked oyster incident) and instead had a Christmas quesadilla.  Needless to say the seafood was delicious and a wonderful change from turkey and ham.
Sy got lots of presents - Imaginext Submarine, V-Tech Learning Game, Star Wars swords, Speed Racer car, Hot Wheels Hyper Wheels, Batman motorcycle, Mini All Terrian RC Dune Buggy, Nerf Buzzsaw Blaster, Handy Mandy Motorcycle, Play Doh, Evan Almighty, and a tractor set.   He did really well.  He also got some clothes but they don't count, so they were not under the tree. I bought those, tried them on him and got them washed and put in his closet before the holiday.  Ho Ho Ho.
The tree and decorations are packed up and put away.  Justin and Cody are coming for NYE.  We are picking them up when we meet G&G Sheetz for Roy's birthday dinner tomorrow night.  It's his 43rd - he's getting old.
It was a successful holiday - now I just need to figure out how to get all these new toys into Sy's room.
