A Bird Bath

I was hoping to show a photo of Roy's Father's Day present with at least one bird in/on it but no such luck.  But a week plus one day later, here it is. A new bird bath.

He put it in front of the little oak tree, trunk in background, and moved the bird feeders closer to it. A bird did use it because they left their mark on the rim. We saw a dove getting a drink on Sunday morning but we are thinking it's maybe too deep for them to use as a bath. The lunch girls said to put a bowl in the middle upside down to see if the birds start using it. Roy thinks it needs some colored gravel. We haven't done either yet but it's on the list.
