Blue Jellyfish

Earlier this week, I noticed that my passenger low beam light is out. Tonight, I picked Sy up from the Nana Tata house - he had the day off and I had to work. On the dark country road close to home, no other cars were coming and since the passenger light is out it's hard to see so I clicked over to the high beams. Sy noticed that he could see more around us with the high beams. With that we talked about high beams, low beams and when we use them and why we have them. I had to flip from high to low a few times because of cars either in front of us or coming the other way.

Just as we were slowing down to turn into our driveway, Sy and I had this exchange:
"Mom, can you get that blue jellyfish back? The one that is in the car with you."
"What is in the car with me?"
"A blue jellyfish. When the lights go bright, there is blue jellyfish."
"A jellyfish gets brighter?"
"No, when you make the lights bright, the jellyfish is in the front with you. It's swimming on it's side, not up and down."
"Oh, do you mean the high beam light? (And I click the beams up.)
"Yes! That one. That is the coolest jellyfish isn't it?"
"It sure is."
