The Saturday after Thanksgiving Lytle has a hayride with Santa. It is very popular and well done. You bring a canned good donation and in return you get to enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and a hayride around town with Santa to view the holiday lights. How fun is that?!?!
This is us waiting in line.
Santa rode on our wagon. The kids were fine with that as long as he stayed up in the front.
The tree lit up from the hayride. See the line of people behind the tree? They didn't make it on our go round - and - there were at least 20 trailers for people to ride on.
Waiting for all the trailers to line up with the comedian in the family.
We learned our first year that you have to get there early and instead of waiting for the lighting ceremony, just go get in line because if you don't you may have to wait for the next run and in year's past that was a 2-hour wait. This year, they made the ride shorter and when I say that, it went from a 2-hour hayride to a 1-hour hayride. But that makes a big difference with kids.
Can't wait for next year.
