Bulldog and Creampuff

As y'all may or may not know my sweetie sells and services fish tanks. He prefers reef tanks but also does the every day salt and fresh water varieties as well.  If you know anyone in the market for jelly fish, let him know, he would really like to set up that type of tank.

Sy really likes the fish room and watching the fish so we had a great idea last Easter - we got him a fish. A beta to be exact. Easy to take care of and provides a little bit of entertainment when shown his image in the mirror.

Roy went and picked out the beta and because he liked Sy's so much, he went back and got another for him. He, of course, has to jack with his son and told Sy he named his bulldog and Sy's creampuff.  Sy was so mad and it's still a hot debate at our house.

We are on creampuff #3 and bulldog #2. I haven't asked if #2 and #1 are still alive in the fish room. Not sure I want to know the answer to that. What I do like is that daddy was able to switch out the fish with no one knowing any better.

One of his clients got a little fish tank at Walmart and he decided our fish needed that same tank - so we went and got them. They fit nicely on the window sill in the kitchen and so far the fish seem to like them.

Here is bulldog...

 He looks really mean, eh?

Here he is getting attacked by the shark that lives in his tank.  A nice little scooby snack.

This is creampuff. He saw himself in the glass and put on a little show. I appreciate his cooperation so I could get this awesome shot of him.

Yesterday we picked up cleaner fish to help keep the tanks clean. One of them jump out of the bag, wound up down the drain and Roy took the pea trap off to rescue him. Rescue mission was successful but the pea trap - well it's dead. The bottom was all rusted out.

He and Sy ran to SuperS and bought another one but it didn't fit properly. Roy wound up putting the broken one back on and taping it up. It is still that way this evening. I guess he's waiting to get to HD tomorrow???

Anyway, these are the lovely fish that make the kitchen window home. And I'm really glad I have a fish tank cleaner in the house.
