You showed up at Thanksgiving time three years ago. Roadblock and Frito gave you a good show to let you know you shouldn't be here, but you didn't leave. You holed up under the house and there you stayed. Daddy let the boys give you a hard time for a few hours and then coaxed you out so we could get a good look at you.
You looked to be about a year old. No collar and as with all the strays that show up - nobody to call and nobody looking for you. You were friendly and gentle with us and Sy so we decided you could stay.
You like to sleep on the pet bed that is out on the back porch. You are always happy to see us and like when we let you come in. You curl up in a ball out of the way so hopefully we will forget you came in and not ask you to go back outside.
You are a great gopher hunter - and - you follow Sy where ever he goes to protect him. We know where you are, we will find Sy.
I have been trying to get a good photo of you for a LONG time but you are hardly ever still. Even with this photo, I tried about 15 times and this was the best I got. You have dried mud on you because you, Frito and Roadblock went exploring in the canal, but I promise this is the best photo of I have gotten of you ever. Usually, you are running away, licking your chops, or barking when ever I click. So thank you for sitting still long enough that I got this shot.
I'm sure as you get older getting your picture will be easier but for now we are glad you are full of energy. You are great addition to the family. Thanks for joining us.
