The Limestone Cactus

This cactus was a really small plant growing in a hole in a piece of limestone Roy got at Keller Material years ago. It's doing well as part of our collection and for the last three summers, it's provided this beautiful purple flower in the heat of the summer.

Anything that can bloom when it's over 100 for days on end and dryer than dry is my kind of plant.
